Work officially fried my brain. Someone who required a lot of help who COMPLETELY DIDN'T DO ANY MATH AHEAD OF TIME so I spent maybe half an hour helping her....then she realized how much she was going to be spending and was like 'HOLD UP I HAVE TO MAKE A CALL' and so she left and I put her stuff aside...then she called and was like 'so make it so ( Read more... )

My salad tonight, believe it or not. I got some grilled chicken and tomatoes and broccoli and chopped red onion and kalamata olives at Whole Foods, and added them to the spinach and pepper and radishes I already had at home, and with balsamic vinaigrette.... Mmmm! It was wonderful and super-tasty and made me happy.

Having just come across the mention of the Presto from Vivaldi's Op. 8, Summer (one of my favorite movements, no surprise) in a drabble I'd written a while ago, I decided I really needed to blast it through my headphones. Instant musicgasm.

1/6 One of my coworkers saying something that made me laugh out loud - and then something else minutes later. We do a fair amount of joking at work, but the sudden unexpected LOL remarks are extra fun. :)
1/7 More lovely long dreaming this morning! I think staying in bed so long made my back ache, though... oopsie!

Waking up early and going back to sleep, resulting in incredibly vivid, memorable dreams for hours. Really interesting fun dreams, too! I used to set my alarm an hour early way back when on purpose, just to encourage vivid dreams. After this morning I'm tempted to do so again....
